Nearby Lakes

MacDonald Lake - MacDonald Lake, east of Brenda, is a 5 ha. (12 ac.) lake which supports good numbers of small Rainbows. MacDonald was stocked with 1000 Pennask Rainbows in 1994 and management plans are to increase trout size. A 20 vehicle BCFS campsite can be found at the lake.

Peachland Lake - Peachland Lake is found south of MacDonald and can be accessed via the road to Brenda Lake. 110 ha. (272 ac.) in size, Peachland lies at an elevation of 1250 m. (4100 ft.) and is subject to summer drawdown. The lake contains a fair fishery for smaller Rainbows (3000 Dragon/Premier Rainbow stock were introduced in 1993) however, trout up to 3 lbs. have been caught but are rare. A 20 vehicle semi-open site with cartop boat launch is present at the lake. See Headwater Lake.

Note: Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start fishing a new lake.
